Welcome
Hello and welcome to Yohden Nursery, a special part of Yohden Primary School. We are an exciting and new nursery opening in September 2025 for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. We are looking forward to welcoming your child into our school family. Whether you are an existing parent or a new starter, we look forward to working with you to give your child the best start in their educational journey.
At Yohden, we strive to deliver exciting learning opportunities for all our children regardless of needs and abilities. Inclusion is an important part of who we are and vital to what we do. We want our children to grow both academically and personally during their time with us, in readiness for their future lives.
Our nursery offers morning, afternoon and full day provision through both funded and paid places. We are also able to provide a full wraparound offer to enable our parents to have more flexibility. Details of times and charges are below.

Funding
All children aged 2, 3 and 4 years are entitled to 15 free hours of nursery provision. Some working parents of these age groups, are entitled to 30 free hours from September 2025.

Session Times
Yohden Nursery will be open for the following sessions Monday to Friday during term time:
Morning sessions 8.30 – 11.30am
Afternoon sessions 12.20 – 3.20pm
Full Day 8.30am - 3.20pm
Additional Sessions and Wraparound
Here at Yohden we want to support our children and families. With this in mind, we can offer the following paid extended services and wraparound care:
30 hours is equivalent to 4 and ½ days. If you would like the extra half day to make 5 full days is £12 per child.
Additional half days for 15 hour children are £12 per child.
Breakfast Club 7.45 – 8.30am £3 per day
Early Drop off 8.15- 8.30am £1 per day
The cost of a school lunch is £2.50 per day.
After School Care
3.20 – 4.00pm £4
3.20 – 5.00pm £8
3.20 – 5.30pm £10
3.20 – 6.00pm £14
